4 Things to Help me Understand the Bible
1. Read your Bible regularly
Find a bible version that is easy to
read and spend up to 10-15 minutes a
day.
2. Have a Bible reading plan
Using a daily bible guide will
help you to read regularly and help you
to understand what you read.
Eg.
Scripture Union - Daily Bread
Heart
103.2 - Time with God
Bible
Society
3. Attend Church regularly
Sermons at Church are designed to teach you about what the bible says and helps you to apply these teachings
to your life. Meeting with other
Christian and discussing biblical
principles is also important to help you
understand what the bible is saying.
4. Pray
Pray before you read and ask God to help you understand what He is saying to you. Ask Him to reveal the truths
in the bible to you and to help you
apply them to your life.
If
there is a verse that speaks to you,
write it down and put in a place that
you will see it easily, eg. fridge or
bathroom mirror
Pray about what
you have read, and what it means to you
and your life.
